Shamanic Womb Massage
Womb Healing with Sobada
‘Sobada’ is a sacred ancient healing practice that honors the wisdom and power of the womb.
This is a whole body treatment combining Energetics and Shamanic Practices on a journey of self-discovery, unconditional self-love, and the reclamation of our true nature and empowerment. An offering that, on its own, is a great place to begin releasing unresolved emotional burdens, the energetic imprint gets passed down through generations, from one egg to another. Though, the deepest healing happens when the womb healing massage is applied in a set of 3 within a women’s menstrual cycle.
Over the course of three massages, you will receive a massage of the lower sacral/abdominal area and lower back/sacrum using organic sesame seed oil infused with Mugwort (Artemisa Vulgaris). Each massage will be tailored to your unique needs and intentions, allowing for deep healing and transformation.
Why 3 Massages?
For better results in perceiving changes within your biology and energetic field, it is recommended to schedule three massages throughout your menstrual cycle—once a week. Like any other practice, a single massage can be very nurturing; however, if you have a specific intention, I recommend doing the full set of 3 massages and then continuing as needed.
Explore the benefits of this ancient practice:
Helps you establish a connection with your divine feminine essence
Allows sacral energy to start flowing more freely, this is creativity, sensuality, sexuality and pleasure
Allows your body to receive and reestablish a relationship with your womb
Encourages stagnant energy to start flowing and moving
Produces extreme relaxation and a willingness to receive from a sister
Helps release energy from past partnerships

This is a journey of self-discovery back to your true essence and connection with the divine feminine energy that lives and flows through you. I have clients that have bought 4 massage trios because they are still working on reclaiming their sensuality or self-love.

‘Sobada’ ≈ ‘To rub’
Womb massage also known as fertility massage or abdominal massage, is an ancestral and therapeutic practice that was developed in the Central and South America. Other names are Fertility massage or ‘Sobada de Matriz’ in Spanish.
Sobada is a sacred ancient healing practice that honors the wisdom and power of the womb. Through gentle massage techniques, we work to release stored emotions, tensions, and energetic blockages, allowing for greater flow, balance, and vitality within the womb space.

In shamanic practices it is believed that when a woman carries unresolved emotional burdens, the energetic imprint gets passed down through generations, from one egg to another. Three Womb massage appointments
Over the course of three appointments, you will receive a massage of the lower sacral/abdominal area and lower back/sacrum using organic sesame seed oil infused with Mugwort (Artemisa Vulgaris). Each appointment will be tailored to your unique needs and intentions, allowing for deep healing and transformation.
Our appointments are held in a safe and nurturing environment, allowing you to relax, unwind, and fully surrender to the healing process. You'll be supported every step of the way as you journey inward to reconnect with your womb's innate wisdom and power.
In addition to the massage, you'll receive empowerment tools and practices to support your ongoing healing journey. These may include self-care rituals, and journal prompts to deepen your connection to your womb and cultivate a sense of wholeness and empowerment.
-
During appointment you will be fully clothed at all times. Only exposing your pelvic area from the pubis bone to ribs area and sacral area of your back.
-
No, womb massages are only received between menstrual cycles, when you are not bleeding. Please wait one or two days after your last cycle before getting your womb massage.
-
A shawl or scarf will be needed to wrap around you, and it's important to keep the area as warm as possible for the rest of the day. After the massage, your pelvic area and sacral region will feel very warm.
-
I use organic, cold-pressed sesame oil infused with mugwort herb (Artemisa vulgaris). When sesame oil is infused with mugwort, the warming and nourishing qualities of the oil are enhanced by the healing and cleansing properties of the herb. This combination is particularly effective in supporting the womb's physical, emotional, and energetic health. The infusion also allows the properties of mugwort to be more readily absorbed into the skin, further enhancing its benefits.
-
Mugwort has been used for centuries in traditional medicine, particularly in East Asian and European cultures, for its ability to support women's health. It is known to promote menstruation, relieve menstrual cramps, and balance the reproductive system. In womb massage, it is believed to help clear stagnant energy, release emotional blockages, and protect the womb space energetically. This makes it a powerful herb for connecting with the feminine and healing past traumas or imbalances.
